On KPSS, study your gap — not the whole syllabus

KPSS — Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS)

KPSS is the exam for appointment to public institutions, and its syllabus is wide: alongside the General Ability and General Culture sessions, candidates add Educational Sciences or Field Knowledge depending on their target. That breadth makes the biggest risk losing time revising what you already know.

KPSS — Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS)

KPSS is the exam for appointment to public institutions, and it is a family of exams rather than one. The shared session everyone sits is General Ability and General Culture. What is added on top depends on the target: Educational Sciences and the branch-specific ÖABT for teaching, Field Knowledge for other posts. Which post you are aiming at decides directly what you study.

The particular difficulty of KPSS is the breadth of the syllabus. General Culture alone covers history, geography, citizenship and current affairs; General Ability covers mathematics and Turkish. At that breadth the most expensive habit is revising what you already know — it feels safe and gains you nothing. Most candidates are also preparing alongside a job, so there is genuinely no time to lose.

Tilki AI works as a compass at that breadth. General Ability, General Culture or field question — it makes no difference; the topic of the question you send is recognised and the solution comes step by step. Tilki Koç follows the sessions separately and shows plainly where you are losing marks: history, mathematics or citizenship. Instead of revising at random, you are pointed at the sub-topics you actually get wrong.

Where the time goes on this exam

  • Not being able to decide what to study across a very wide syllabus
  • Having no one to ask when a question stops you
  • Preparing alongside a job, with very little time

KPSS · Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work on Educational Sciences and ÖABT questions?
The system works from the question, so it does not care which session it came from: it recognises the topic and solves it. The coach analysis accumulates against those same topic labels, so gaps in Educational Sciences and General Culture do not get mixed together.
What about topics that keep changing, like current affairs?
Current affairs is a recall-heavy area whose source material keeps being replaced, and the app is not a news source. What it does is show the solution and the reasoning for the question you asked. For current affairs you need a current source.
Can I take mock exams in the app?
No. Tilki AI is not a mock exam platform. You keep taking mocks wherever you take them now; the app picks up the questions you got stuck on, whether in a mock or while studying. That is the point: you already know which question you could not do — what is missing is why.
Does it teach the syllabus?
There are no lecture videos that teach a topic from scratch. The app works from the question: it walks through the solution step by step with a video, and explains the rule and the reasoning it rests on. If you have never seen the topic before, study it from your source first and bring the question you get stuck on here.
